The Space Needle was built on a 120' x 120' lot formerly owned by the city of Seattle, which was sold to investors for $75,000 in 1961, just one year before the opening of the World's Fair.

Getting Here

It's a breeze to get to the Space Needle, in the heart of the city.  The Space Needle has convenient valet parking where you can safely leave your car and spend the day at the Seattle Center.
