Observatory

Rum runners, the founder of a a typewriter, romantic superstitions, and ties to royalty are all woven into the historical fabric of this icon, which presents a window into the Emerald City’s colorful past. Classic architecture evokes an opulent era, a backdrop of craftsmanship that lives on through carefully crafted cocktails from an unrivaled, breathtaking vantage point high above Seattle.

For over a century, visitors have come here to take in Seattle from above, relax, and have a good time. When you visit, be sure to have a seat in the Wishing Chair, and keep your eyes out for more legends as you explore the thirty-fifth floor.

Observatory Bar

Perched on the 35th floor, The Observatory features a speakeasy-inspired bar where Prohibition-era charm meets modern flair. Savor locally inspired bites and unique craft cocktails that nod to Seattle’s rich history. A ticket, per guest, is required to enter.

• Last admission is one hour before the Observatory Bar closes. Please see hours above in the redemption instructions section.
• Access to the Observatory Bar requires a ticket. If you've purchased a 2-Pack: Space Needle + Smith Tower ticket, you will be granted entry.
• Reservations are not available. Seating and access are first come, first serve and subject to availability.
• As a courtesy to other guests, we are unable to seat your group in our Observatory Bar until all members of your party have arrived.
